Personal Statement:
I teach English to students of Information Sciences at the Faculty of Humanities
and Social Sciences. Information Sciences are fairly new and fast developing field in
which it is imperative to use specific English terms, read professional literature in English
and converse in English fluently, as well as master the skills relating to computer and the
Internet for which the knowledge of English language is essential. In order to help my
students achieve all that I think it is very important to constantly improve as a teacher.
My role as a teacher in today’s world of endless information and data is a
responsible one. In my opinion, I need to be a good learner in order to be a good teacher,
and the process of learning never stops.
