Born on 5th August 1968, in Zagreb, Republic of Croatia. She attended the Grammar school and the Language Education Centre. In February 1994 she graduated from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb in Italian language and literature and Russian language and literature. From 1996 to 2011 she taught Italian at the “Dante Alighieri Society “. She receives professional training at courses, workshops and seminars as a part of various continuing professional development programmes for foreign language teachers. In 2003, she received her master’s degree from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb in the scientific area of humanities, field of literature, entitled “Culture as a semiotic problem in the work of Yuri Lotman”, mentor prof. dr. sc. Josip Užarević. In 2012 she received her PhD from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb in the scientific area of humanities, scientific field of philology, scientific branch of Slavic studies entitled “Conception of space of Pavel Florensky in the context of Russian cosmism”, mentor prof. dr. sc. Josip Užarević. Since the summer semester acad. yr. 2014/2015 she has been conducting courses of Russian language as external associate at the Centre for Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. Since the winter semester acad. yr. 2015/2016 she has been teaching Russian for academic purposes at the Centre for Foreign Languages. In the summer semester acad. yr. 2016/2017 she was mentor to students of the Teaching stream of the graduate study of Russian language and literature in the East Slavic Languages and Literature Department. In the summer semester acad. yr. 2017/2018 she conducted substitute classes at the undergraduate study for the East Slavic Languages and Literature Department in three courses (Morphological Exercises 1, Language Exercises in Russian 6, Language Exercises in Russian 8). In June 2018 she was elected to the title of lecturer in the scientific area of humanities, scientific field of philology, scientific branch of Slavic studies at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Since acad. yr. 2018/2019 she has been a course coordinator of the Russian language for academic purposes at the Centre for Foreign Languages. In October 2019 she was elected to the teaching title of a lecturer in the scientific area of humanities, scientific field of philology, scientific branch of Slavic studies, at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, at the Centre for Foreign Languages.
